Mr. Bourgeois began practicing law in 2004 and has concentrated on transactional and business law, insurance coverage, insurance casualty defense, complex litigation, hurricane litigation, and various other areas. Currently, Ryan’s primary area of practice is Maritime Defense and Construction Law.

Mr. Bourgeois is admitted to practice before all Louisiana State Courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.

Mr. Bourgeois received his Juris Doctor from Loyola University School of Law in 2004. While attending law school, Mr. Bourgeois was a member of the moot court team for the John Marshall Law School International Moot Court Competition held in Information and Technology and Privacy Law. He was also a coach of that same team as well as a coach for the First Amendment Moot Court Competition held at Vanderbilt University Law School. Mr. Bourgeois did his undergraduate work at Millsaps College, graduating with a B.B.A. in 2001.
