Daigle, Fisse & Kessenich’s medical malpractice group, Jon A. Van Steenis and Paul “Trey” Trapani, III prevailed on an exception of prescription on behalf of a psychiatric hospital. Plaintiff made claims for negligent supervision of hospital staff; however, Mr. Trapani argued that the plaintiff brought her claims too late. The court agreed, and dismissed her claims against the psychiatric hospital with prejudice.
