Short Biography

As an associate in the firm’s construction, aviation, and civil litigation practices, Joshua understands that proper assessment of risk can be crucial to the success or failure of the client’s claim or defense. Originally from Slidell, Louisiana, Joshua served on Active Duty in the United States Army as both a Geospatial Engineer and a Civil Affairs Specialist. During his military service, Joshua gained valuable knowledge regarding how to best serve those who face difficulties. During a deployment to Lebanon, Joshua managed all United States military-organized humanitarian projects in Lebanon such as school renovations and commodity distributions.
While serving on Active Duty Joshua earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from American Military University. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Joshua obtained his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center where he participated extensively in moot court, receiving the runner-up award for Best Brief at the National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition held at West Virginia University School of Law. Joshua also gained litigation experience during law school by participating in the Juvenile Defense Clinic. After earning his Juris Doctor, Joshua served for two years as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Sterling Snowdy in Division C of the 40th Judicial District Court. While serving as Judge Snowdy’s law clerk, Joshua gained experience in both civil and criminal litigation which propelled his ability to effectively represent clients both in and out of court.
In his free time, Joshua enjoys exploring Louisiana on his motorcycle with his fiancé, skydiving, golfing, woodworking, and spending time with his friends and family.
